The Library at the Edge of the World
A new show for libraries and other non-theatre spaces
The Library at the Edge of the World is a magical pop-up interactive show for all ages that celebrates the power of stories to reconnect us to the world around us.
A curious larger-than-life puppet librarian invites audiences to join her mission – to create a home for the stories of the world’s most overlooked inhabitants. For each performance, a book will be opened to reveal – through vivid puppetry – the story of the one of the lesser-known living things around us.
After that, all the children will be invited to join us to create miniature books that share the stories of creatures they love. The books can be drawn and visual storytelling or cartoons, or written in words in any languages children feel at home in.
The show is designed to be technically entirely self-sufficient and work in any flexible space.
